Enrolling in
The Social Justice School

We are currently accepting applications for the 2022-23 school year

via MySchool DC for scholars in grades 5-8. If you are interested in having your scholar attend our school in the fall, please fill out an application through MySchoolDC. 

New Student Enrollment Process

We are available to support with enrollment via email/phone and in-person. Our team is dedicated to making this process as easy as possible for our families. If you need any assistance, please reach out to our Family Engagement Coordinator via phone at 202-938-8938

 

Please follow the steps outlined below to complete enrollment for your scholar: 

  1. Once you accept the seat for your scholar on MySchoolDC, you will receive an email with a link to our  Pre-Registration Portal on PowerSchool. Once you fill out that out completely, make sure that you hit "Submit." 

    1. The Pre-Registration portal can also be accessed by clicking on this link. 

  2. Once your pre-registration form is approved by our Leadership Team, you will receive a confirmation email from PowerSchool with instructions on how to create your Parent Account and complete the required enrollment forms. It is very important that you complete all the forms and electronically sign the "Acknowledgement of Completion" section in order for your submission to be complete. 

  3. Once you complete your enrollment forms on PowerSchool, please e-mail this required DCRV form (linked here) and other supporting documents for Proof of Residency to enrollment@thesocialjusticeschool.org or drop them off in person at our Main Office.
