The Social Justice School
We are currently accepting applications for the 2023-24 school year
via MySchool DC for scholars in grades 5-8. If you are interested in having your scholar attend our school in the fall, please fill out an application through MySchoolDC.
New Student Enrollment Process
We are available to support with enrollment via email/phone and in-person. Our team is dedicated to making this process as easy as possible for our families. If you need any assistance, please reach out to our Operations Project Manager via phone at 202-968-5380.
Please follow the steps outlined below to complete enrollment for your scholar:

Once you accept the seat for your scholar on MySchoolDC, you will receive an email with a link to our Pre-Registration Portal on PowerSchool. Once you fill out that out completely, make sure that you hit "Submit."

Once your pre-registration form is approved by our Leadership Team, you will receive a confirmation email from PowerSchool with instructions on how to create your Parent Account and complete the required enrollment forms. It is very important that you complete all the forms and electronically sign the "Acknowledgement of Completion" section in order for your submission to be complete.

Once you complete your enrollment forms on PowerSchool, please e-mail the required DCRV form and other supporting documents for Proof of Residency to pwalley@thesocialjusticeschool.org or drop them off in person at our Main Office.

All materials can be dropped off to our Main Office or they can be emailed to pwalley@thesocialjusticeschool.org.

DC Residency Verification Form (DCRV form English | DCRV form Spanish)

Parent's/Guardian's ID or Driver’s License

If Applicable: Copy of Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Plan
