Congrats to the Class of 2025!

Our graduation ceremony is one of our favorite times of the year! We loved celebrating with our 8th graders, and we're honored to be a part of their journey.

We are excited to share our 8th graders have been accepted into, but not limited to, the following prestigious high schools: McKinley Technology High School, Benjamin Banneker Academic High School Banneker, The Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Phelps A.C.E. High School, Calvin Coolidge High School; the list goes on!

The Social Justice School Spring Celebration of Learning was combined with a student-led event, “Trigger Warning: A Violence Prevention Festival," in which youth speak truth to power through art and activism.  

The dual event, held on June 6, 2025, featured student showcases, spoken word, music, food and drinks, art exhibits, SJS merch, and guest speakers. We loved spending time with the SJS community!
